The Teacher

A teacher’s work is never done. Whether it is in the classroom or on the slow pitch field, Jim Legg wears that title like a badge of honor. A teacher in the Kansas City area for 31 years, Jim chose to spend the second chapter of his professional career at Pro Athlete. Starting in 2006, he did a bit of everything at Pro Athlete, from buying bats and gloves to shipping in the warehouse, to being on the hospitality team and making the lives of employees better. He was the “Beer Expert,” the tailgate pro, and was the captain of the company softball team. Through all of his different roles, there was one constant: Jim’s desire to continue to teach. From giving tips on buying a house to explaining a 401K, Jim was always ready to help his teammates.
