Pro Athlete’s Farm System Looking Strong After Epic “Take Your Child To Work Day”

We were blessed to get a chance to look deep into our farm system yesterday as fifteen kids came to Pro Athlete for Take Your Child to Work Day. We call it Rookie Day around here and we don’t do your typical routine of having them sit at a desk and watch their parents type all day.

The festivities kicked off like any sporting event, with the announcement of the starting lineups as each kid was announced and ran through a spirit tunnel of employees. From there, a local children’s book author read 3 books to the group and signed copies for everyone. Be sure to check out No Tooting at Tea by Alastair Heim! Great books for kids by a local author! There was also face painting, swimming, a makeshift movie theater on our racquetball court, volleyball, a bounce house, some helped our chef make lunch for the employees, and some even helped out in our shipping department.
