Cheers to 30 Years!

Pro Athlete had another great year in 2017. However, this year was extra special for us, being that it marked our 30th anniversary as a company! After a poor customer service experience when trying to purchase award patches for their son’s varsity letterman jacket, Wes and Judi Hedrick took a leap and changed their plans of opening a Jiffy Lube to try and bring a customer-centric sporting goods store to Kansas City’s northland. From current and former employees here in Kansas City, and others all around the country, we want to thank Wes and Judi and the rest of the Hedrick family for making life-long memories for employees, partners and ball players for the past 30 years!

As a company, we have been lucky to be associated with some amazing people during this ride, including our great employees, customers, vendors, lenders, friends and family. For the past 30 years, Pro Athlete has been much more than a place to work. It’s been a home away from home, a place to have fun, a source for giving back to the community, a therapeutic getaway, and most importantly, a place that enhances the lives of those associated with it.

30 years of business is an amazing accomplishment, and we have made sure to have a “ball” along the way.
